Rain garden to address a drainage issue whilst also slowing runoff to the local river system.

Challenge

Custom made gabions with profiled steel fish and ripples in a galvanised finish. Filled with locally sourced stone. The total size of the sculpture is 10 metres by 3 metres and it extends below ground level to a depth of 2 metres. Developed from an initial idea by Dewi Morris. Final design, layout and adornments designed and realised by David Humphreys working with Stokes of England.
